Chamber Committees
The hard work and dedication of our Chamber Members is our most important asset. Our committees are filled with members who work hard, network, and have fun along the way. Each committee has a unique quality that will appeal to a variety of interest. The committees work at different times of the year and for different durations to work with our members schedules. Listed below are options available to you with a brief explanation of their duties and involvements. Ambassador/Membership Committee
Meeting and greeting each member is this committee's claim to fame. They help assist the Chamber in welcoming new businesses in the area through ribbon cuttings and special events. The committee also works throughout the year to recruit new members into the Chamber.
Golf Committee
Each year the Chamber hosts an annual Golf Tournament. Members come together for a wonderful day of golf, drinks, dinner, and prizes. The committee assists in securing sponsorships, attendance prizes, and assists in planning the day's activities. This committee is combined with the committee from the Lake Saint Louis Ambassadors.
Hawaiian Luau Committee
Supports the Board and Staff at this annual event held in September.
Public Relations/ Technology Committee
Monitor and evaluate the constant changes in technology, update the Chambers image and presence in the community, inform the Chamber area businesses and the community of the advantages and disadvantages of technology. Development of an ongoing public relations campaign to promote the Chamber.
Economic Development/Government Affairs
Be active in seeking economic development and current on governmnet affairs. The committee will analyze and evaluate issues of public policy and communicate position suggestions and recommendations to the President/CEO with the best interest of the business community in mind. To be the leader for economic development in our community by coordinating the Chambers role with the city’s of Lake St. Louis , Dardenne Prairie, St. Charles County, and State of Missouri.
Budget Committee
A Board committee whose goal is to review the revenue and expenses of the Chamber and propose a budget for the upcoming year.
Program Committee
Suggests and contacts possible speakers; helps with set up and registration duties at luncheons; helps host holiday party; helps to formalize new programs and improve existing programs.
